Don't worry, Nikki has no surprises. She loves when I have babies for clients. This is Colton. Not quite 3 months old and soooo adorable. This picture reminds me of Nikki and especially TJ, when they were babies. I am sure somewhere there is a picture very similar of my own babies, however me holding them. This is why I do daycare and of course to take care of my teenage children. How the time flies. I miss my babies, but this way is much easier.

Nikki does not usually wear makeup, which is part of why she looks to0 grown up for what I am ready for, however, I do not have a choice in this one. Time moves on, even when we don't want it to. The dress was even prettier than the picture lets on. She looked truly beautiful and had a great time.
Not much for my first time out. I need to work on building up, however some is better than none. Hoping to add alot more miles as the summer moves on. This is just down the road from my house. The end of the same road that Peach Plains is on. For those of you who are not sure where this is, it is Nikki and TJ's elementary school. We have beautiful bayous and swamp land, or maybe it is considered wet lands, not sure, but it is very pretty this time of year.
Just a few more pictures to share. Grandma also needed to be shown with her granddaughter on the big 16th. She has also helped in the development of love for chocolate. I also thought a nice picture of Nikki as a baby with her very proud dad. He would be soooo happy with the young women she is coming to be. I am sure he was looking down on her and smiling with pride. You can also see the very entertaining card given to her by her 'stepdad' and her many presents. A good time was had by all.

On grandpa's/dad's birthday in Michigan, it was cold, snowing and somewhat miserable. I braved the elements for an hour long walk in non-stop snowing. It has now stopped but it is said by local weather that artic air along with ice is heading our way soon. Yuck!!!! Dad is truly a wise man for spending his birthday in a much prettier and warmer place right now. Soooo jealous of the snow birds. I need to find another excuse to get back to Florida. My walking route for today. No clear bike path here until the snow leaves. I sure do miss the Florida view and warmth. I was layered to the hill. However, the sun was out and bright, but still very cold. The fresh air felt good. After buying bathing suits in Florida, I figured I better step it up for when the weather actually does turn around. Unfortunately, I know we are a good 6-8 weeks away. Looks like no clear bike paths for awhile.

TJ didn't have as much written homework today so he is taking a break before studying for two tests tomm. His lovable dog Razz loves having snowballs thrown in his face. Hence a snowball fight between a boy and his dog. We would still prefer Florida, but making due in Michigan.
