TJ is 13!

I had a favorite cousins picture, but could not get it to upload. Something to work on. Just a few of my favorites in TJs life. He made such a cute kid. Now he looks soooo grown up. I know he is just a teenager now, but it is a step up from little kid. I love the person he is becoming, but miss my little boy. How the time goes by too quickly. Happy birthday my wonderful son. Your dad is smiling down on you watching you and missing you, but with you today. Happy 13th!!!! More birthday pictures to come!

braces time for TJ

Orange and black for Halloween. He doesn't like the feel. He said it feels like a third set of teeth. He will adjust. It was hard to get him to open big for the camera, but he finally did. I think he will do fine and appreciate the handsome smile in the next 10 years.

Homecoming 2011 in Michigan

Alyssa, Nikki's friend, pictured, created this beautiful hairstyle for Nikki homecoming night.

Nikki does not usually wear makeup, which is part of why she looks to0 grown up for what I am ready for, however, I do not have a choice in this one. Time moves on, even when we don't want it to. The dress was even prettier than the picture lets on. She looked truly beautiful and had a great time.

May Grand Haven Style

Not much for my first time out. I need to work on building up, however some is better than none. Hoping to add alot more miles as the summer moves on. This is just down the road from my house. The end of the same road that Peach Plains is on. For those of you who are not sure where this is, it is Nikki and TJ's elementary school. We have beautiful bayous and swamp land, or maybe it is considered wet lands, not sure, but it is very pretty this time of year.

16 Now and Then

Just a few more pictures to share. Grandma also needed to be shown with her granddaughter on the big 16th. She has also helped in the development of love for chocolate. I also thought a nice picture of Nikki as a baby with her very proud dad. He would be soooo happy with the young women she is coming to be. I am sure he was looking down on her and smiling with pride. You can also see the very entertaining card given to her by her 'stepdad' and her many presents. A good time was had by all.
