Check it out. Lots of sun and next to no snow. It is 26, so still cold. It however, is sure nice to see some green. We had a huge amount of rain on Thursday night and just a very few flurries. Obviously, the sun and rain won out. This better be a sign of spring coming. Now we just need warmer temperatures.
It is 36 and the snow is melting. I even took these pictures wearing no coat. Although, there was a bit of a chill and the snow is coming back on Friday with a bang. Sorry to those southerners coming this way. I keep asking Ted for some help. He must be busy taking care of Grandma King or maybe the lawn up there.
I could not find these pictures before. I found them and they are some of my favorites. So enjoy the hams. Notice the time of year, no snow and sun. It can not come soon enough.
Finally, a very brief break, as there is still little flurries hanging around my house. A bit of sunshine also. I show my driveway because it was actually plowed by the brother in law at 4:00 this morning, yet we still can not see the driveway. The snow just won't give up. A definite work out opportunity as I will have to shovel the walkway into the garage. If I feel really ambitious I may even get the sidewalk in front of the house. It will be an opportunity for sunshine, but I am still willing to accept tickets to the true home of sunshine. The temperature is currently a whole 26 degrees. Melt snow, melt!!!!!!!
Well the snow is back, of course. At least we are at the end of February. Although, us northerners are tiring of this. The roads were clear last night, but this came in over night. It's Michigan. Hope you southerners are enjoying the warmth and sun. I think it may be 20 or lower. Melt snow, melt!!!!!!!!!
Yesterday it was completely gone. Just old snow. But of course we live in Michigan, so mother nature gave us a present this morning. The kids also got their first snow day of the year. Although I believe we only got about an inch. They do not usually cancel school, so the kids were happily surprised. It is 10:04 and they are still in pajamas. They love the snow now. I liked it better yesterday. The temperature went from the 30's yesterday to 16 now. That's Michigan for you.
The kids are showing off in Norway at Epcot. Enjoying warmth and shorts in Florida. Summer can not get here soon enough. The kids are such hams, but soooo cute.
It snowed yesterday, just a little. My driveway and patio are already clear. There is more coming. So much for thawing. It was nice for a few days.
Got the picture order wrong, but I am still work in progress. TJ got pizza and candy, a good day for one of the SLO's.
