Wind and Spring

Due to very strong winds. I am hoping it is a sign of spring on the way. It looks like I have lost a tree. Ted kept saying he did not expect that tree to make it through many more springs. I am thinking I will have to leave it be. I am thinking it is to big to even ask Jeff about, although I may show him just to show him.

As you can see, it is much warmer, but also much wetter. I may take the kids outside anyways just for some fresh air.

It is a safety issue with the kids. We use Steve and Tom's Tree Works when we lose a tree. 786-3866 We got his number from Dave, and he's been pretty reliable. I'm not sure he does work in Grand Haven, but he may well. Jeff would probably hurt himself if he tried to do it by himself -- I think it is better to have a professional handle something that big. Jeff could cut it up and stack it after it was down if he wanted it for firewood.

Nice to see the warmer temps. I hope they stick around a while.

Nice photos.

Love,

Mom

Uncle Jim told Kelsey about your tree. She's been training on the use of chain saws (!) for her new job. She blogged yesterday, and mentioned your tree.

Uncle Jim has two nice posts up about our Mom. It proves to me that we treasure our memories and we never forget.

My beloved roommate does indeed have a newly minted "Chain Saw Safety Training" certificate that proves she could deal with that tree. Er, maybe once it's on the ground? Good luck!
